Explore, learn, and marvel at the Wilmington area’s favorite family destination: the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, located in Kure Beach, NC at the mouth of the Cape Fear River. Tickets, a photo/video gallery, and an up-to-date schedule of Aquarium programs are all available through this smartphone app, along with directions to the Aquarium. At the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher, visitors journey along “The Waters of the Cape Fear” – from freshwater streams and swamps, to coastline habitats, reefs, and the open ocean. There are so many things to do:

-- Come face-to-face with a sea turtle
Food and drink is available at the SharkBites snack bar daily from March through September and on weekends during October and November.
